Our History:

Watts Trucks & Van Swansea has always been evolving - it was originally formed in 1985 in a management buyout led by John Landon, in their first year the company employed 24 people with a turnover of £2m. Today the company has grown and now employs 100 staff with a turnover of over £9m, and holds the DAF Trucks franchise. The Swansea parts and service department has won many national awards over the years for excellent performance and notable achievement.

In 2008 the company was acquired by the Watts Truck Group which has dealerships in Cardiff and Newport supporting the DAF Trucks franchise.

Key milestones in the history of Swansea Truck Centre include:

1985 Commenced business as Leyland Trucks Main Dealer
1987 Awarded Leyland DAF franchise
2003 Awarded new DAF Trucks franchise for Sales, Service & Parts
2003 Awarded Foden Service franchise
2005 Celebrated 20th Anniversary
2008 Acquired by Watts Truck Group
